Here at Smoke & Rye we’re staying as positive and optimistic as possible during these unsettling and uncertain times; and I can certainly say on behalf of myself, our Director and the team we are absolutely overwhelmed by the encouragement and support we have received from you all over the last few days! I can honestly say it goes such a long way to keep up the team morale - this is really why we do what we do!!!
We fully believe that it can’t be all doom and gloom all of the time and we’re here to give you something to look forward to by bringing a little bit of the Smoke & Rye experience directly to your doorstep!
We’ve been working non-stop over the last couple of days, clearing out the restaurant, extending our kitchen (with some brand new kit!), communicating with suppliers, designing menus, updating systems & our website… all to offer you our brand new ‘Stay at Home’ Menu.
I’m so excited to say the Menu is now available to view online - we really hope you’re as excited as we are by the new menu additions! We’ve listened and we’re doing what we can to bring you what you’ve always wanted to see from us ;-)
We’ll be open daily for take outs from 3pm until 10.30pm.

We are offering a free delivery service which will be available to those of you within 5 miles for all orders over £25. However, if you’re able to pop down to collect please do so, so we can save the limited slots we currently have available to those that can’t come out and are most at risk.
All of our meat options are slow smoked & because of this are first come first serve - please be aware that we are expecting to sell out quickly! (if they disappear from the order system then it means that we’ve sold out).
Please note we also have some old S&R favourites still in stock - so if it's not on the menu - but you want it to be - then we’ll do what we can to still get it out to you.
To use the online service, please head over to the online ordering page, select the date and time you wish for your food to be ready (it will look like you're making a table reservation). You will then be given an option for food collection or delivery and credit card details will be required to complete the booking. You will then receive a Pre-order form with the available menu to be completed no later than 60 mins prior to your collection/delivery time and your credit card will be charged the total amount of the order prior to pick up or delivery. Please make sure you are available to be contacted if there are any payment issues or stock issues (I'm sure you'll understand!) and thanks again for you support during this difficult time!
At this time no one knows how long we’ll be riding this wave together. I can assure you that the longer that you guys are staying safe and tucked up at home,the more opportunity we will have to further develop our American dine at home experience.
We can’t keep saying this enough but to all of our amazing customers, employees, suppliers, the family & friends who have always supported us and to all other local businesses - we’re all in this fight together!
