As a Bartender at Smoke & Rye, you’ll be at the center of the action, delivering expertly crafted cocktails, engaging with guests, and keeping the drinks flowing. Key Responsibilities - Craft Exceptional Drinks. Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, whiskey pours, and beverages with precision, speed, and consistency. - Guest Engagement & Experience. Create a welcoming and lively atmosphere, providing recommendations and guiding guests through our extensive drinks menu. - Drinks Knowledge. Learn and master our whiskey, wine & beer selection, cocktail recipes, and seasonal specials to offer the best possible experience. - Speed & Efficiency. Work quickly and accurately to keep up with demand while maintaining top-tier quality and presentation. - Stock & Inventory Management. Assist in bar stock control, rotation, and ordering to ensure the bar runs smoothly. - Health & Safety Compliance. DUTY MANAGER
As we continue to grow, we’re on the lookout for a passionate and proactive Duty Manager to join our front-of-house leadership team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with hospitality experience who’s ready to step up, lead from the front, and help deliver next-level guest service on the floor. The Role As a Supervisor at Smoke & Rye, you’ll be a vital part of the daily operations supporting the Senior Management team, coaching staff, and keeping energy high across the floor. You’ll lead by example, jump into service when needed, and make sure every guest leaves with a story to tell (and a craving to come back). This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives on great service, loves a fast pace, and isn’t afraid to get stuck in. Key Responsibilities - Support Daily Operations. Help lead front-of-house service, ensure smooth shifts, and step in to resolve issues with confidence and calm. - Deliver Epic Guest Experiences. Lead by example to ensure every guest is welcomed, looked after, and leaves happy. - Team Leadership & Support. Assist in training, coaching, and motivating the team to uphold high standards and brand values. - Stock & Systems. Help manage stock levels, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures. - Health & Safety Compliance. Ensure service areas meet all hygiene, licensing, and safety requirements. - Event & Promotion Support. Get involved with special nights, events, and marketing promotions, we love fresh ideas and energy. As a Server, you’ll be the face of Smoke & Rye, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome, attentive service, and an unforgettable experience. Whether you're recommending the perfect whiskey, delivering mouthwatering dishes, or keeping service running smoothly, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brand to life. Key Responsibilities - Guest Experience & Hospitality. Provide genuine, friendly, and engaging service, making every guest feel welcome and valued while maintaining an attentive yet relaxed atmosphere. - Menu Knowledge & Recommendations.
