PAY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE UP TO £12 PER HOUR.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR PART TIME AND FULL TIME EXPERIENCED CHEFS TO JOIN OUR KITCHEN TEAM.  

 

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE A LOVE AND PASSION FOR FOOD, STRONG WORK ETHIC AND A MINIMUM OF ONE YEARS HANDS ON KITCHEN EXPERIENCE IDEALLY IN A HIGH VOLUME ESTABLISHMENT AND POSSESS A CLEAR VISION OF THE LEVELS OF QUALITY AND STYLE OF FOOD AND SERVICE THAT ARE EXPECTED. 

 

YOU’LL NEED TO BE CONFIDENT IN FOOD PREPARATION AS WELL AS COOKING TO ORDER, PLATING DISHES, MANAGING STOCK, FOOD SAFETY, ALLERGENS AND FOOD HYGIENE.

WHAT YOU'LL GET UP TO

AS A MEMBER OF THE KITCHEN TEAM YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IN ENSURING OUR DISHES ARE CRAFTED TO SPECIFICATION, UPHOLDING OUR HIGH STANDARDS OF TASTE, PRESENTATION AND QUALITY. 

 

TO MEET OUR HIGH CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO BE FAST PACED AND EFFICIENT WHILST MAINTAINING EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH STANDARDS KEEPING A KEEN EYE FOR DETAIL, ACCURACY AND CONSISTENCY.  

 

YOU’LL TAKE ON A POSITION AS PART OF THE KITCHEN TEAM, WORKING CLOSELY WITH LIKE MINDED, EXPERIENCED AND PASSIONATE CHEFS, YOU’LL HAVE A HANDS ON OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP NEW SKILLS, EXPERIMENT WITH NEW RECIPES AND LEARN NEW COOKING TECHNIQUES WHILST WORKING WITH HIGH QUALITY, FRESH AND SPECIALLY SOURCED INGREDIENTS. 

 

AS A MEMBER OF THE KITCHEN TEAM YOU’LL HOLD RESPONSIBILITIES IN FRESH FOOD PREPARATION, COOKING, SERVING, MANAGING STOCK, COMPLETING DAILY CHECKLISTS AND MAINTAINING A HIGH STANDARD OF CLEANLINESS IN ALL KITCHEN AREAS.

  • FULL TIME AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

  • PRIOR KITCHEN EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

  • IDEALLY SOME FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE WITH AMERICAN CUISINE

  • MUST HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF HEALTH DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS, CONSISTENTLY MAINTAINING A CLEAN WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND MANAGING STOCK

  • MUST HAVE BASIC FOOD HYGIENE AND SAFETY TRAINING CERTIFICATES 

  • HAS EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS WHICH INCLUDES THE ABILITY TO USE CLEAR, CONCISE, AND GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT WRITTEN AND ORAL LANGUAGE IN INTERACTIONS WITH CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIERS, COLLEAGUES AND MANAGEMENT

  • MUST BE ABLE TO MULTITASK AND BE FLEXIBLE

  • MUST BE ADAPTABLE, DEPENDABLE AND A TEAM PLAYER 

  • MUST BE ABLE TO REMAIN FOCUSED AND PROFESSIONAL IN A FAST PACED AND BUSY ENVIRONMENT 

  • SHOULD BE OPEN AND WILLING TO LEARN NEW SKILLS 

  • SHOULD HAVE A PROACTIVE APPROACH TO IDENTIFY PROBLEMS AND WORK QUICKLY TO FIND SOLUTIONS 

  • WORKS EFFECTIVELY WITH OTHERS, ON ALL LEVELS, IN A POSITIVE AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER 

  • SHOULD BE ABLE TO WORK WELL AS PART OF A TEAM OR INDEPENDENTLY
